Output per Hour Worked

Definitions

Output per hour worked: Measures the average ouput produced by the average worker in one hour. Can be on a national, industry, or sector basis.

Output: The final product of the production activity. Ouput is obtained from the combination of resources such as labour, capital, materials, services and energy.
